We started with some light bites, one of which was the Calamari Fritti (SGD$12.80) - battered squid rings deep fried till a crispy golden brown. These squid rings were surprisingly good, giving the palate a beautiful contrast of crackling exterior giving way to succulent, chewy flesh within. There was another starter of Buffalo Wings (SGD$9.80) - deep fried chicken wings with Ice Edge's own secret spicy herb sauce. The wings were rather well done with crispy skin and juicy, tender meat. The secret spicy herb sauce penetrated the wings very well too, giving it a very delectable flavor that piques the senses instantly.I had the Fish and Chips (SGD$16.90) which was pretty common fare consisting of crumbly battered exterior and soft, smooth interior. The fries were pretty common shoestring fries as well. For full review and more detailed information, please feel free to visit:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2015/05/lunch-at-ice-edge-cafe-kovan-revisit.html continue reading

Had a an awesome night with my girls in the cafe.  Went there for dinner while waiting for the reservation at lola's cafe. Reached at around 7 on a Wednesday night. Surprisingly it is not very crowded. Cozy ambience. A good place for heart to heart ❤️ Ice crem flavour tried: -Earl grey- Mao shan wang- pulat Hitam- Bailey'sService was rather slow, afterall it does not have service charge. Overall quite a worth😊 continue reading

Good:- Delicious and flavourful pasta- Tasty and wide variety of ice cream flavours- Self-service iced water at the sideNot-so-good:- Shortage of service staff makes getting their attention difficult at times- Shortage of parking around that area. May have to park over at the nearby mall and walk 5-10min to the cafeOverall:The food taste good. That is what brings the crowd over to the cafe time after time! Would recommend to friends! continue reading

Food quality is great and tasty. I had the Double Pork Chop, it has satay sauce as the gravy. The taste is quite okay for my taste, not too strong not too mild. However, the food portion is too small. I cannot even feel a thing in my stomach. Money for value wise, I would say Ashton's or chargrill are better.Service wise is really poor. Pressing the call button does not get the attention of the waiters. Even calling out to then would take quite a while to respond when there are not much customers. continue reading

Finally I get to try Ice Edge Cafe!! Had read alots of review about their waffles is nice... Situated right behind Kovan MRT Station, close to the round-about, Ice Edge cafe has become a dessert/supper place..."Mix & Match" Waffle --> The waffle is thick plus is crispy...Still, the two scoops of ice-cream save the dish!! Here, we ordered Mao San Wang, Yuzu, Lychee Martini & Gingerbread flavours...The taste (except for gingerbread flavour, super duper bitter which we can't take it) is rich and makes me felt like going for another round of ice-cream!!Overall, a good place to hang out having their Ice-cream!! continue reading
