It was really a very pleasant surpise given by my friend when I was going through work at home. A whole cake of this black forest delight was presented infront of me to celebrate my birthday. The cake sponge was very soft and light, which is also not too sweet too. The fresh whipped cream is smooth and delicious, with the added cherries topped on the cake make it look sweet and cute. Chocolate chips added that extra crunchiness to the cake during every mouthful of it. For the price of $26 per whole cake, is really affordable.

Recently during a friend's birthday celebration, we got the 15 cam Mocha cake from Emicakes. This size is perfect for small groups of people as it can be divided quite equally without having any left overs. The cake is full of cream and if you like creamy cakes, this is a rather good choice. The interior of the cake is made of layers of sponge cake and mocha cream. The taste is not too sweet and the cream and cake ratio was skewed towards being more creamy than cakey. As I am not really a cream person, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, but my other friends all loved it. It is worth a try if you are a fan of mocha and don't mind the cream.

My partner presented this chocolate cake for my birthday. I am a chocolate lover and this cake suited me well. This is a chocolate mousse cake with chocolate coated almonds embedded in it. It has got an intense chocolate taste. The level of sweetness was just right. It still tasted good even after left it till the next day. It tasted good to go with the coffee too. The bitterness of the coffee balanced up the sweetness of the cake.

I was amongst the five chosen ones to get a 15 cm cake from Emicakes by Openrice Singapore! I was given a choice to choose in between the Chocolate Mousse Cake, the Black Forrest Cake and the Mocha Cake. I decided to go with Chocolate Mousse Cake to give it to my chocolate-loving partner as his belated birthday cake.We went to this outlet with the confirmation email issued by the Marketing Team of Emicakes. The staff was a little puzzled as no arrangement has been made for the cake to be collected. She attempted to make phone calls but to no avail. Even it was so, she still decided to give the cake to me. That is what i called a good service. The Chocolate Mousse Cake was taken out from the freezer. The cake is to be left in the fridge if it is to be consumed on the day itself as advised by the friendly staff.The size of this 15 cam Chocolate Mousse Cake is good to be shared with 5 to 8 people. It is a nicely decorated cake. The cake itself is filled with thick chocolate mousse sandwiched in between the sponge cake. This is a 600 grams cake at an affordable price of $26.40. The texture of the cake was a bit too soft after i done taking the pictures to be posted with this review. It was then refrigerated and kept for another few hours. The texture was hardened this time and easy to cut. Emicakes is famous for its different types of durian cakes so i did not expect their chocolate cake can be this good too. My chocolate-loving partner enjoyed the cake so much. He commented that was one of the better Chocolate Mousse Cakes he ever tried. The best way to enjoy such a cake is to have it with a cup of good coffee! Lastly, i would like to express my heartfelt thankfulness to Emicakes and Openrice Singapore for such a wonderful cake.

A durian lover? A birthday coming? How about trying out Emicakes durian cake? Emicakes offer really good durian cakes with thick and true-blue durian fruit. In addition to that, the cake it offers is soft and fluffy. Despite putting it in the freezer for a cold durian taste, the cake still taste soft! It is a definitely must try for durian lovers and you just can't stop getting more. Although it is rather expensive but it is definitely worth the price.
