I happened to seat just next to this stall when i was there for lunch. There was a constant flow of customers queuing up right in front of this stall even after 2 pm. I just couldn't help but gotten rather curious and wonder what would be the reason behind such a queue?I decided to join the queue to find out for myself. Most of these customers ordered the Mango Shaved Ice. I just followed suit. It was served in a transparent bowl and topped with a generous amount of fresh sliced mango for only $2. The level of sweetness though enhanced by the evaporated milk was just right to allow me to still able to taste the natural sweetness of the mango. The shaved ice has got an intense mango flavor too. I really enjoyed it so much. This is easily the best dessert i could find in such a dessert stall located in a food centre. This Mango Shaved Ice is cheap and indeed very good. continue reading

After lunch, I was looking for some ice cold dessert when I saw a couple of tables around me eating Mango Ice. Seems really delicious, and so I decided to hunt down the stall that sells this.I arrived at Beo Garden, and there was a short queue. Not surprisingly, almost all of the people in the queue ordered the Mango Ice. At $2 a bowl, this is a great buy as they cut fresh mangoes and lay a generous portion of it on top of fine ice, mango paste, and carnation milk. Highly recommended and I'll be back again! continue reading

I went there during lunchtime and you can see people queuing up for desert at this stall. After waiting for about 10 mins, I ordered ice cheng ting for takeaway. The stallowner is generous as you can find chunks of jelly, long gan and gingko nut in it. The desert tastes yummy (not too sweet and not too bland) and it serves as a "fire extinguisher" to cool down my body on a hot sunny day! continue reading
