I bought two rolls of popiah from this stall as an add on as my family members are still feeling a little hungry after our meal. This stall's popiah costs $1.30 per popiah which is the standard cost now as compared to a year ago where popiah rolls are still sold at $1 per roll. I requested for one roll to be without chilli and one roll with chilli. I just ate one slice of the popiah roll with chilli and I find it to be quite delicious with the slight spiciness. There is a good mix of turnips, bits of boiled egg, peanuts, some fried stuff and the proportion of all these ingredients are just nice. One thing that I thought the stall owner can improve on is that he can wrap the popiah tighter so that the ingredients will not drop out easily. continue reading

I didn't really like the service of the stall, the lady boss treats the customers badly, she screamed at the customers instead of serving them politely. As for their popiah, they will pre-made the spicy one and the non spicy one they will make on the spot. However, they used the same spoon for both their sweet sauce and the chili, which my non spicy popiah had a mild spiciness! There vegetables inside such as the bean spouts was not fresh at all. The ingredients was cold and the lettuce had turned yellow and i don't know why they still add to their ingredients instead of threw it away. The eggs was cut into very small pieces, which is very hard to taste it. The popiah itself is very soggy and cannot stay in shape. Many ingredients fell out below it was sent to my mouth. Each popiah costs $1.30 which is slightly expensive, usually the one i had is around $1.20. continue reading

This costs $1+ and there is always queue but the uncle is efficient about doing it. He does the popiah many at a go there it's fast! I like the filling inside, there is some special crispy cracker inside. There are also veggies inside. It is always divided into 5 equal pieces. This could be a snack after lunch in the office!
