Walking past the seafood stall, I decide to get a packet of Ee Mian for takeaway. It costs $4.00 and packed into a clear plastic box. Service is quite fast as I think there is not much customers tonight. It as been awhile since I last have Ee Mian. The brown noodles covered with thick brown sauce, topped with seafood and green leafy vegetables. The noodles is soft and smooth.

Ordered the dry beehoon. The beehoon is soft despite the appearance which makes people think it might be hard. It is just not moist enough. The beehoon is well flavored with whatever they add in it while cooking which I guess pepper, soy sauce, might be highly added in it. When the lime is added to it, it give a sour taste (duh) but it helps to whet one's appetite. To me, the mildly sour dried beehoon actually tastes quite nice. The vegetables could be given more though.

This zi char stall has got an extensive menu for different types of dishes. I ordered the curry beef rice for $5.00 after glanced through the menu. They do have curry chicken rice, curry pork rice and others for selection too. It has got an aromatic curry taste. The spiciness was rather comforting. If they did not overcook the sliced beef then it would be one of the most perfect combination. The texture of rice was just right.

I always come for the steamed rice and doubled boiled soup in this coffee shop. Though this seafood stall has been around for the longest time but i did not get to try it. I was there for late dinner right after a movie. I was presented the menu very quickly and after glanced through i decided to go with their Curry Beef Rice for $5.00. The curry taste was rather aromatic with a hint of spiciness but the sliced beefs were slightly overcooked so the texture was compromised. It tasted a bit tough. The curry gravy goes nicely with the plain rice.
