Came here with my friend for lunch. This outlet usually not much people, so it is quite easy to find a seat here.I had their turkey Bacon Cheesy Crumble. I like the creamy cheese, but bacon was just so-so, quite plain, I only love the cheese.Cream of mushroom was quite watery, not creamy. Tastes like Campbell soup, nothing to shout about. Garlic Bread was a disappointing dish, it was not warm, no garlic flavour, not strong enough, can only taste the butter and is oily. Serving time for food take less than 10mins, which was quite fast. continue reading

I was warmly welcomed by the staff of Pastamania when I entered and ushered to my seat. Didn't quite expect such a warm reception, but I felt it was a nice touch. After taking a look at their menu I decided to try their risotto instead of their usual pasta items. I had their Prawns and Mussels Risotto ($10.50) which is essentially prawns, mussels & arborio rice cooked with homemade broth, tomato sauce and parmesan cheese. When I received my dish, I was a little taken aback by the small portion of rice. I wished they could be more generous, nonetheless it managed to fill me up as it was starchy rice with lots of cheese. I actually liked the hint of tomato in the risotto sauce, which explain the slight reddish hue of the rice, however, the rice in my opinion was not soft enough and it could have been stewed a little longer to absorb more flavour from their risotto broth. continue reading

Was craving for some garlic bread during one of the afternoon and happen to pass by this PastaMania outlet and decide to give it a try on their garlic bread. Unfortunately, I have actually made the wrong decision as the garlic bread taste really awful here. The garlic taste is not really strong and you almost feel like eating a plain slice of bread. The bread are also not toasted till crispy nor golden brown, which the appearance is already a failure as well. continue reading

In my opinion, the food is not really worth the money. A pasta dish alone can cost $8, and you have an option of 3 different sets of side dishes, each with different costs. The pizza dough is hard and it can be frustrating trying to cut it into small pieces. I am not sure if this is the case for the other outlets. However, the service in this outlet is splendid. I once spilled my drink and they cleaned it up within mere minutes, on top of offering me another table and replacing my drink. They did not seem upset or unhappy with that incident; constantly serving with a smile. continue reading

ever since the first time i ate pastamania i already did not like it because the pasta are so hard and just like those packet pasta sold at convenient stores that ready to be microwave and eat. and the standard drop tremendously over the years and the recent time was really disappointing. not to mention the standard hard pasta, the portion is pathetically little. i like their concept of letting you choose different kind of pasta but this will not help when the food is horrible continue reading
