Beef rice bowl from Yoshinoya. The beef’s very very thin and there’s quite some bits of fats. It was a little salty too. Not too chewy. Couldn't taste too much on its texture. The fries were super crispy & good!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything hot and filled with potato rarely goes wrong.Oh the meal also comes with a small drink and nicely packed utensils. I bought student meal for $5.95. Quite worth it right?http://phuachiuyen.wordpress.com/2013/07/30/yoshinoya-northpoint/ continue reading

Currently there is a promotion on its new item which is call Yokatsu. It is actually Tori Katsu bowl. Yokatsu Set ($7.50)For $7.50, it comes with a bottle of green tea. The serving is a deep fried chicken cutlet on top of steaming white Japanese premium rice and mixed vegetables. The rice is very hot and fluffy with some sweet brown sauce on top. The vegetables is also very soft. Overall seems quite a balance meal. continue reading

There's: Rice, I changed the normal refined white rice to brown rice with addition of 50 cents top up. Vegetables. Sardines. Mochi. And lastly, Kimchi. I changed the rice of course is to have a healthier choice and for the fiber. The sardines are good, the sauce is a little bit sweet. The kimchi is marinated heavily: sour, spicy and mildly sweet. The vegetables are really healthy as there are no added condiments or oil to cook it, i think they just boil the vegetables thus the bland taste. The mochi, out of my expectation. It don't taste good at all. It's frozen, taste weird to me. (I'm a mochi fan but this mochi just turns me off). Fruitty twist: Just as the name suggests, at the bottom of the drink, there's fruits from can. It is highly carbonated as well. It is of course, tastes sweet .Service: The girl who served me was terrible. She has no smiles at all and totally ignored my request for chili sauce and mayonnaise. Until I asked the other guy for it. This guy, on the other hand, has really good service. He smile and pass me the condiments I asked for. --SGD 11.40 total. continue reading

been long since i last had yoshinoya..bought the Salmon Value Meal at $6.60..there's miso soup with pieces of seaweed..it doesn't taste as salty as before..next,we go to the main course, salmon bowl..simply in love with the vege..despite eating the fried salmon, have some vege! and u will feel so much healthier..you can also request to have more mayo w/o charges..just that wondering something, whether ginger and chilli powder will be charged if i were to request? since it's "free flow" when u eat there.. continue reading

I love Yoshinoya jap food though i don't always eat, i find it just a tad expensive But this meal is my mum's treat so ok lah She bought me their meal which has one drink, one beef vegetable bowl and one sides of meatballs! She said there wasn't too many people as she was there around 12pm plus so still quite fast!I love their beef, the most speciaal i've seen and ate so far!Other places don't have this sting kind of beef And i love that they use the pearl kind of rice more authentic to Japan's and makes the meal more fragrant! The meatballs nice too but i think the sauce a little too salty but otherwise everything's fine continue reading
