Chocolate IndulgenceFeeling down? Or you just want to celebrate? One slice of this chocolate and white chocolate-filled decadent cake is the solution. It is for those who love semi-sweet chocolates. You will love every morsel. This is an absolute comfort food. At $5.50 per slice, it is worth giving it a try. Thai Seafood SpaghettiI had ordered this for my daughter. Though there was an indication of only one chilli on the menu for this dish (all spicy dishes are indicated by either 1, 2 or 3 chillies with 1 being the least spicy), this was too spicy even for someone like me who has a lot of tolerance for spicy food. I have tasted dishes that are indicated by 3 chillies, but this was misleading. Furthermore, the spaghetti was under-cooked. It had a floury taste. I highlighted this to the waitress but was told that there was nothing she could do. I then requested for cheese, which was eventually given to me. Despite that, my poor girl could not digest the food. Sigh... wasted $13.90. Please note that the ratings I have given here is based on the taste of the cake.

Crowded place.Banana Yogurt Shake ($5.90++) : Thick with abit of sourish taste.Gourmet Seafood Laksa ($11.90++) : A disappointed display for such a price. The gravy is rather thick which I liked. The hard boiled egg is rather cold as I bit into it. The bean sprouts is uncooked. Try to soften them by covering with gravy. Too of the raw taste.Chocolate Banana cake ($5.50++), Baked Cheese cake ($5.50++) : The baked cheese cake is not bad. The height of the chocolate banana cake seems to have reduced and not chocolaty as it used to be.

The service here is average but their cream of mushroom soup is really below average! I was extremely disappointed after having just one sip of it. It was too diluted and I felt like I was drinking some normal plain soup with bread. For the best cream of mushroom soups, you guys should try Swensens or Manhattan Fish Market. Manhattan's mushroom soup is really really good because they actually have mushroom bits in the soup!

I went to secret recipe for a gathering with a group of friends. I looked at their menu and could not decide what to have. I was craving for Asian food so I flipped to the Asian food section. I finally decided to try their secret recipe fried rice with satay. Their fried rice was really fragrant. It was a little darker colour than the normal fried rice probably due to the sauce they added in. there were three sticks of chicken skewers. It came with satay sauce. the chicken was slightly harder, probably due to grilling for too long. the satay sauce was real good. it not only brought out the flavor of the chicken, it gave the fried rice extra flavor. I was quite satisfied with this dish!

I decided to have my dinner at Secret Recipe. The staff at secret recipe were very efficient and effective. They were very friendly and were quick. I ordered the fish n chips. It was served with mayonnaise. The chips and fish was well cooked. However, the fish was a bit too oily for me. I felt full really fast and I did not manage to finish my meal. The price is quite affordable though.
