Went there with friend for dinner. I ordered black peppered sirloin Chicken chop (part of set meal). Sirloin was fine though its taste was covered by the sauce which was too spicy for me. Rice that came with the main course was too dry though it still taste quite nice. Chicken chop was fine and tender but the sauce was too blend. At least for the person who ate it. After the main course, we ordered Crazy Sue which was a chocolate and orange flavor cake. Nice blend of both flavors and not too sweet so even when I am full I still can finish the cake. Chocolate walnut that came with the set was also recommended. continue reading

Went over to mad Jack for a quick dinner before we head off for games but it was an utter dissapointment. Firstly, it was so stuffy in the cafe. There were just too many tables, too many people in such a small space. 2ndly, the service staff are not well trained. One of the guy delivered food to us, not knowing what it was, we asked him what it is. He shrugged off and left. like seriously? U don't know your own food and you are so rude about it! I ordered the Fish and chips. let's just say i tasted better Fish & Chips. continue reading

This was their Fish and Rice. The Rice is mushroom-y. Very mushroom-y. If you mushroom, this would be a good dish to order. Cos its instant HIT of mushroom taste. The moment the scoop of "fried rice" is introduced into the mouth. You feel the mushroom. Fish... it was a challenge. I hope its only an isolated case. Cos the one that I had, I can taste the stale oil taste. nope. Like I say, hope its an isolated case. Read more: http://www.avnjl.com/mad-jack-bugis-sights/ continue reading
