petit provence has some of the best buns and pastries available in Singapore! I especially love the wassants here. Coming in different flavours including cream and chocolate and kaya, the wassants are all fantastic. My favourite is the chocolate wassant which is super delicious. Fluffy layers of bun alternate with generous layers of chocolate. The buns are especially good when served warm

Their Cream Pan is an absolute delight, especially if you manage to purchase a warm bun fresh out of the oven. Fluffy bread which encase a rich, soft, willowy cream filling which is really satisfying. This is a absolutely great piece of bread to have with a nice cup of coffee or tea. The cream filling is not very sweet, but it has a nice milky, fresh creamy taste to it which is highly addictive. This is one of the must have breads here!

the breads are very nice here. very soft and chewy - just how i like it! this one is their special for a limited time. some fortune or prosperity bun. it really was just like an anpan, with red bean filling. nice filling - not too sweet. the bread is very white and they dusted it with more white stuff on top which goes everywhere on your clothes. standard pricing - same as bread talk. but their breads are better than bread talk. some breads are more expensive and smaller size than bread talk...

My favourite bun from Provence Bakery (there are outlets in PS and Holland V) is the brazilian chesse bun.Its about the size of a soft ball, costs 90 cents and is one of the nicest buns i have ever had in Singapore. The crust is crispy and burnt slightly brown, and the insides has a chewy texture - not too cheesy as if a lumped of cheese was stuck inside and left to melt, but a nice blend of soft bread with a hint of smoked cheese. What i like about the PS outlet is that traffic here is very high. The breads get sold out and replenished pretty fast so you almost always get bread right from the oven.
