among all the cakes in secret recipe, i still prefer chocolate indulgence. I had the secret recipe's chocolate indulgence cake for tea that day. secret recipe was quite famous and known for their cakes. I've been wanting to try them out for some time already. All the cakes displayed looked so tempting and nice that i had a hard time deciding. Finally i decide to get the chocolate indulgence cake. It was pleasantly quiet at that time since its not peak hours. I felt peacefully and times seems to stop while i enjoy my tea time. The chocolate is indeed nice and moist. I didn't feel that it's too dry for eating. I would definitely be back to try other flavours next time round

Other than their usual wide range of signature cakes at Secret Recipe, I am quite upset with the food standard of their cooked foods. Happen to have a dinner with my girl friend and have tried their brocolli soup with bun before we have their main course and desserts. The soup portion was really little and the soup is quite diluted and tasteless. Not much brocolli can be found in the soup and in less than 10 spoonfuls, you will be able to complete the soup. Moreover the mini bun serve with the soup is also not up to standard. The bun is quite hard and the taste is quite bland. As there are no fruit jam or butter to spread on it, it even make this bun meaningless to eat with the soup.

This chocolate banana cake from secret recipe is my big love. It is a very big piece and very rich in flavor. The chocolate tastes nice together with chucks of banana. The cream is a little fatty but it tastes good too. The outer layer coated with a thick chocolate that added the flavor to this cake. Overall this cake is simple but very nice.

This is Chocolate indulgence cake from secret recipe. This is one of the best seller cake. As the chocolate and cream layer for this cake is perfectly match. The yellow cream layer of this cake is slightly sweet in taste and you will feel sick if you eat too much of this. however, the outer layer of the chocolate fudge is fantastic!

We have walked past this Secret Recipe Restaurant almost every Sunday. We always wonder why the place is always empty. Out of curiosity, we tried it out last Sunday. Strangely, once we were outside the place staring at the menu, a few groups have entered the restaurant. Good, we are not alone.We ordered Grilled Chicken Baked Rice, Burrito Grande, Green Apple Kasturi and an ice-cream. The Baked Rice ordered by my hubby is tasty with lots of cheese and smell so incredibly good. I wish I had ordered that one. On the other hand, the Burrito Grande I ordered is so-so. It is just meixcan rice and shredded chicken wraped in tortellas topped with some salsa tomato sause. The potion of shredded chicken is hearty but rather dry and hard. The Green Apple drink is super sour. The ice-cream had some smarty topping and it's also much ordinary.Actually, I didn't even know what would come up before I ordered the Burrito Grande. My hubbie blamed me for ordering something strange. I totally disagreed, as I love to try out new favours and new food. If that's good, it would really make my day. Clearly, for this lunch, it hasn't quite hit the point.PS, my hubbie has been ordering wonton noodle at his office canteen everyday for most of his working days. No surprise for his lack of understanding.
