The place is decorated in sliver, black and white tone. We are showed to the sofa seat by the wall, so that little JJ could take a nap. Quite a nice place, but there is not much customers around. One could see even the staffs look quite bored too. The menu has a great selection with great deal for lunch sets.Remember to write your order on the order list before placing order.Egg & Ham Sandwich ($3.90)Simple fried egg and ham sandwich, which tastes average.Almond Tea ($2.70)The hot version drink tastes quite thick and creamy.Egg in Boiling Almond Tea ($2.90)Looks similar to the normal almond tea, but turns egg yellowish color when stirred. It tastes like Holicks to me, without been too sweet.Boiled Coke with Ginger ($3.20)It tastes like coke without the gas.Total costs $14.95Overall food is served quite fast here, despite having most of staffs on break. continue reading

Had my lunch at Kim Gary. Borsch Soup - Clear Tomato based soup with a few kinds of diced vegetables like cabbage, celery, carrot etc. It was quite savory with a bit of sourness from the tomato. Very appetizing. Black Pepper steak with Spaghetti - The steak seemed to be marinated as it was kind of salty. The black pepper sauce was a little bit too spicy for me but still acceptable. Old Yuan Yang - Coffee mixed with Tea. It was quite creamy. Not too badOverall , for a price of $9.50++, it is really value for money. continue reading

I love the cheesy baked rice at Kim Gary restaurant and will most often order this whenever I dine in here. They added in a few new items for their cheesy baked rice category and this Norwegian Salmon Seafood Baked Rice instantly caught my attention! I knew I had to order that as salmon and cheesy baked rice is a perfect combination! I also like the fact that their baked rice portion is big, which makes it very worth it! continue reading

Ordered a set meal which consisted of a main dish, soup and drink for $10.50++. The main course is a plate of noodles (seasoned maggi mee) with pork chop, sunny side-up, hot dog, chicken wing and ham. For a restaurant, the price is quite economically friendly. The taste was not fantastic though. The pork chop was very tough and was not tasty while everything else tasted average and anyone could whip it up too. Overall, this set meal is not worth a try. continue reading

Was here for a quick dinner after shopping at ion. Choose this restaurant because there is no queue haha as i'm really hungry at that time. I ordered Korean Noodles with Fried Beef which cost about $10 after gst and service charge. Not very worthwhile for the price paid as its basically maggie mee with egg and beef. The soup does not have the authentic korean taste too, but the taste is alright. Also, the beef is a bit hard to chew on. Overall, I will rate this dish with 2.5/5 star. continue reading
