Went to Xin Wang with my friends after finish shopping at Bukit Panjang Plaza.I often go to Xin Wang have lunch or dinner. This restaurant is sort of consider in in my favourite restaurant list.Had ordered the wantan mee soup base but i forgotten to take picture so the picture above only show the mee only while the wantan was already in my stomach.The soup tasted just normal. The mee had no tasted of alkaline which was a good thing. But it didn't impress me.

红油炒手Sichuan Red Oil WontonThis is delicious! China SiChuan spices with Wonton is a good combination! Spicy lovers will love this!! Recommendation: 4/5麻油鸡面线 Sesame Oil Chicken Mee SuaStrong sesame oil taste. The mee sua is just nice, not too soft. I finish the whole bowl although i don't like mee sua.Recommendation: 4/5盐酥鸡 salted fried chickenThe fried chicken cubes are lovely and just one bite size. Perfect snacks for kids and teenagers! I was shopping around bukit panjang when I came across xin Wang Taiwan. Apparently xin Wang has two kinds of version, one is the hong kong version, the other is the Taiwan version. So far I only came across the taiwan version at citylink. While xin Wang hong kong version can be found almost everywhere.I decided to settle my dinner at xin Wang Taiwan. I order the honey crispy chicken rice. They served the food on a really large plate. The chicken was really large piece that I could barely finish it.The sauce is sweet and salty at the same time. Something unique. It was served on a separate dish, it gives u an option as to how much u wanna add.I was quite satisfied with the food there.

We had always wanted to patronize the restaurant at citylink, but it's always full, and so we came to outlet at bukit panjang plaza instead. The outlet here is much more spacious and emptier.We ordered the Braised minced pork and egg rice, Stewed pork belly with preserved mustard cabbage, Beef noodles, Crispy fermented chicken chop rice for mains. The braised minced pork and egg rice was the best, followed by the stewed pork belly rice. Both have a generous amount of gravy on the rice, and it was all so delicious. Side dish was Toast box with creamy filling. My advise is to eat it while hot and crispy. The toast feels a little too oily towards the end.For drinks, we had the Ice milk tea with pearls. The milk tea was thick and has a nice fragrance, and it was not too sweet, just the way I like it. Good food, reasonable price, thumbs up!
