Signature Dishes
This Australian franchise has awesome ice cream and waffles! I usually go patronize the place on Tuesdays as they have their weekly special ‘Half prized waffles on Tuesdays’! The waffles are served freshly made and piping hot and come with whipped cream and drizzled with maple syrup. Sounds good? Pair it with one or two scoops of ice cream and the result is heavenly. I usually choose vanilla because it doesn’t overwhelm the taste of the waffle.

The FoodWhen think about waffles, the only place with the best waffles is Gelare as most of my friends also have tried.I ordered the Waffle with double scoop Tiramisu and vanilla ice cream with my choice of topping as chocolate sauce since I am a chocolate lover.The waffles were freshly baked hence crispy on the outside and hot.As for the ice cream, I like the Tiramisu flavour because the taste is like eating real tiramisu as it come with a strong tiramisu aroma. Galare @ Orchard Central is one of the best place to chill out with the comfort sofa and casual aura the cafe provided. The waffle ice cream is one of the selling point there. With around more than 10 choice of ice cream to choose from, there is a choice of chocolate or maple syrup to compliment the dessert. It is definitely sinful, but it worth to order. go on tuesday for half-price waffle~

I purchased an offer held by the mall to exchange for set meals at $10. I chose Geláre because of its quiet and relaxed environment. After my visit, I realised the food tasted quite good as well.Cranberry drink: The sweetness wasn't too overwhelming and left me wanting more of the drink. It suits well with the Black Pepper Chicken Spaghetti.Black Pepper Chicken Spaghetti: Bite-sized chicken slices and the combination of onions and chills make this an appetising dish. As the sauce was of a soupy nature, this dish seemed to be more of a Chinese dish rather than a Western one.Waffle with cream: Though the waffle looked plain, it was light and fluffy and tasted plesantly sweet with the cream. A simple dessert to end off a satisfying meal!
