You might find the name of this shop to be quite familiar. If you do patronize Food Republic food court often enough then most probably you have eaten it before. They used to have a few stalls at different Food Republic food court but closed it down and opened this shop when the old master passed away last year.The old master started selling it behind the Capitol Theatre at North Bridge Road many many years ago. And that's why they added Capitol right behind their stall name. The noodle did not taste as good when the old master was around. I used to be eating it at the Food Republic food court at Takashimaya and if i came at the right time, the old master was there.The ingredients were the same but the taste of black vinegar was a little overwhelmed today but the noodle was alright. It might happened to be one of their off-day. I suppose i would just give it a try again when i happen to be in the vicinity someday. The price is still the same even though they are operating from their own air-con shop now.
