Signature Dishes
Fried fish with fried onion rings and pasta salad $8.50. The fried fish was served hot and slightly oily but the batter was crisp and thin so the flesh could be easily tasted. The pasta salad was served cold and tasted average. The onion rings tasted average too. Overall, price is above average but worth a try if you are craving for western food.

Located just opposite the church, Aston's is actually one of the more popular stalls here. I was here at 830pm, only aston, the ci char, porridge and dim sum stall were still opened. Ordered the double up chicken, chose hickory chic and fried crispy chicken and mac&cheese + french fries as sides. The serving was huge especially the crispy chic but its definitely not the most healthy option for a meal. deep fried on the spot, the crispy chic was hot but super crispy. Hickory was good and i like the BBQ sauce a lot. My meal came up to be $11.90 including 7% gst. I will probably stick to my new york strip with garden vege next time . Waited quite a while to be served due to the preparation for the crispy chicken i was told.

During weekends, there is always quite a lot of tables ordering from Astons. The waiting time will take around 15-20minutes each time. As per their other express outlets, the menu is the same, you get to choose two sides to go with your main. I went for the grilled fish, and I chose the spicy potato wedges and macaroni salad. The grilled fish is quite nice, the fish is very tender and slightly crisp on the outside. The sauce that went with the fish is ok. I normally will add the tabasco sauce if it is available at their counter as it is more flavourful that way. The potato wedges are very nice. I would think it is very worth it to get the wedges since it sells for quite expensive if you were to order it as a side dish outside. Overall, it is an enjoyable dinner.
