Other than the ramen here which is always taste great, I also enjoy having their pork ginger rice set. At merely $11.50 per set, I get to enjoy a generous portion of sliced juicy pork meat cook with lots of sliced onions and ginger which is super fragrant. Moreover, the crunchy spinach and the hot tasty miso soup make the meal very complete and satisfying. Restaurant is quite cooling and comfortable. Service here is also fast and friendly. continue reading

This is the Seafood Ramen ($11). I decided not to go for the set meal ($14.90 for additional side dish and a drink) as it would be too much for me. I like the prawns and the scallops here. Prawns were crunchy and succulent. I've always liked Ajisen's soup base too. It is smooth and I will always finish it down to the last drop. I thought the noodles this time were a little too soft though. However, you can always count on Ajisen for good ramen that is not too pricey. continue reading

I went to Ajisen for many years, it was one and my buddy of the favourite dining places. The soup was thick and nice, the ramen taste just so nice for us. What's more, the meal looks attractive with an add-on side dish and drink.Noodles were the straight kind, served firm. Cabbage, kelp and bean sprouts were generous but did not overwhelm..Nothing to shout about the service or ambience. Ajisen is, in essence to me, a place to have a quick casual meal of ramen and some other light Japanese dishes. continue reading

I had went to Ajisen for food again and i ordered their gyoza set which costs only $10.90 and come with rice, a cup of green tea, dumpling, 2 pieces of fried chicken and miso soup! I was indeed a good deal! The fried chicken and dumpling is cannot goes wrong cause is fried stuff and the japanese rice they served is what i liked the best and soft and had a sweet aftertaste. Miso soup is slightly salty but i think is still acceptable. The ajisen ramen is very spacious as compare to Jurong point. I will this outlet more since we are paying for the same price. continue reading

This time round I tried their pork curry ramen without upgrading it to a set meal again, thus it was just $10. The ramen was the usual and tasted so-so, the soup base was slightly spicy unlike the spicy cha-shu that I ate last time. However, they gave me a huge portion of the pork which was thin with traces of fats but tasted normal as well. In the end, i was pretty full due to the excessive portion of pork given. continue reading
