Other than the ramen here which is always taste great, I also enjoy having their pork ginger rice set. At merely $11.50 per set, I get to enjoy a generous portion of sliced juicy pork meat cook with lots of sliced onions and ginger which is super fragrant. Moreover, the crunchy spinach and the hot tasty miso soup make the meal very complete and satisfying. Restaurant is quite cooling and comfortable. Service here is also fast and friendly.

This is the Seafood Ramen ($11). I decided not to go for the set meal ($14.90 for additional side dish and a drink) as it would be too much for me. I like the prawns and the scallops here. Prawns were crunchy and succulent. I've always liked Ajisen's soup base too. It is smooth and I will always finish it down to the last drop. I thought the noodles this time were a little too soft though. However, you can always count on Ajisen for good ramen that is not too pricey.

I went to Ajisen for many years, it was one and my buddy of the favourite dining places. The soup was thick and nice, the ramen taste just so nice for us. What's more, the meal looks attractive with an add-on side dish and drink.Noodles were the straight kind, served firm. Cabbage, kelp and bean sprouts were generous but did not overwhelm..Nothing to shout about the service or ambience. Ajisen is, in essence to me, a place to have a quick casual meal of ramen and some other light Japanese dishes

I had went to Ajisen for food again and i ordered their gyoza set which costs only $10.90 and come with rice, a cup of green tea, dumpling, 2 pieces of fried chicken and miso soup! I was indeed a good deal! The fried chicken and dumpling is cannot goes wrong cause is fried stuff and the japanese rice they served is what i liked the best and soft and had a sweet aftertaste. Miso soup is slightly salty but i think is still acceptable. The ajisen ramen is very spacious as compare to Jurong point.

This time round I tried their pork curry ramen without upgrading it to a set meal again, thus it was just $10. The ramen was the usual and tasted so-so, the soup base was slightly spicy unlike the spicy cha-shu that I ate last time. However, they gave me a huge portion of the pork which was thin with traces of fats but tasted normal as well. In the end, i was pretty full due to the excessive portion of pork given.

I accompanied my friend to ajisen for lunch. She had not eaten her lunch while I already had mine. So I decided to order the gyoza to eat with her. Ajisen’s gyoza is not the meaty kind. The amount of meat they add to the gyoza is just nice, the gyoza does not appear to be filled with the meat. The gyoza skin is not too thick, break when you bite into it. When you dipped the gyoza into the vinegar dip and eat it, it is really good. the portion is just right not too filling.

We were looking for a place to eat after our movie and I was suddenly attacked by ramen crave. My partner suggested we go for Ajisen to satisfy my cravings. Decided to try the rice set from Ajisen. I ordered for the mabo toufu set which consists of pork and miso soup. The mabo toufu wasn't very spicy so it was alright for me. The sauce was thick and sweet, perfect for the toufu. The pork wasn't too dry and was relatively soft. The sauce is sweet and the dish was fried together with onion and chilli. It was delicious but not much different from a home cooked meal. The miso soup from Ajisen was relatively bland..with only a slight miso taste. Overall,

Overall, it was tasty but definitely doesn't taste like restaurant-quality food. Costs $13.80 which I think was not worth it. Although it was good and filling, its standard is very average. Something a mother could cook easily. Therefore, despite being good, I probably won't recommend it b/c its not worth the money and Ajisen has other alternatives that would be more worth the money.

this ajisen outlet is link to aji ten, at first i though they are different restaurant but my friend told me they are the same but just sell slightly different food. personally i think aji ten serves nicer food than ajisen although they are from the same company. aji ten has more variety on desserts but they still serve similar main course as ajisen like ramen. somehow i also felt aji ten ramen tends to taste better so i will recommend to eat at aji ten

Indeed, the Corn Ramen is the most unassuming dish in the wide variety of ramen available at Ajisen BUT corn lovers can never resist the sweet allure of corn. That said, Ajisen should consider adding more corn and work on the noodles. Find that the noodles are a tad hard and tasteless. Broth was ok but definitely can be improved. Not asking for too much since Ajisen brand itself as a ramen joint, it has better buck up lest fickle customers flock over to the many other japanese restaurants mushro
