Introduction
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has grown into one of the largest privately-owned, family-run coffee and tea companies in the world. Coffee Bean has always been juxtaposed against Starbucks for the longest time ever. Nevertheless, I must say that I love Coffee Bean's ice-blends so much better because they are much more fragrant. I don't know, but it's just a self-preference. We were looking around for a cake to celebrate my birthday, and their Green Tea tiramisu ($6.90) caught my eye. A little different, not the conventional chocolate or fruit cake, but still lovely. It was really sweet and delicious and the matcha taste was gracefully light. The mocha went down with me as well, being really warm and delicately concocted by the attentive barista. Service and food are both awesome. I love Coffee Bean!   continue reading

Talking about Tea Latte, I am always on the look out for good Chai Tea Latte. I have tried the Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks, Tea Dot, Chaiholics, Coffee Bean and Spinelli. My verdict is Coffee Bean has so far the best Chai Tea Latte so far!The Chai taste is strong yet of course not overpowering. I am most disappointed with the Starbucks rendition as the Chai taste was too mild and if one were to ask for richer taste it would be then too sweet as its Chai powder is already pre-mixed with sugar.Have a cuppa of Chai, aromatic and flavourful, best taken when it is piping hot. Its flavorful spice coupled with warm skimmed milk leaves a nice warm aftertaste. Enjoy a wonderful Chai-time with a slice of cake, biscotti or cookies to go along!! ^^ (on a side note, the Matcha Tea Latte is another good option for a mildly sweet soothing hot drink ) continue reading
