I love to have a cup of hot black coffee after my lunch here whereas my friend loves her ice coffee. We like their sitting area too, it gives a very warm feeling, we could chat over a cup of coffee for an hour or so. Their black coffee is very fragrant and does not taste sour even when it has turned cold. I have to order two cups of coffee because I do not feel satisfied drinking just a small cup of coffee, hope they could change to a bigger cup like those selling in kopitiam. continue reading

Today in the afternoon, michael called me up to check whether i am in pasir ris as usually i will be at my parent in law place. I replied of course and asked him why. He told me that he is alone and boring as his girlfriend is not free for him. So i told him why don't we meet up for coffee session since he is staying at pasir ris. I told him to meet me ar Ya Kun at Pasir Ris White Sands at 3pm. When we reached there, we ordered ourself each a cup of coffee. We sit there chit chat till 5pm and only left the place when my wife called me to go buy dinner back. continue reading

The standard of Yakun speaks for itself. Good place for a break from your shopping. Especially before or after NTUC grocery shopping as NTUC is on the same basement level. In fact a few times I have been caught in the rain and got stuck there with my heavy shopping trolley. One thing to warn though: can be rather crowded! continue reading
