The fish and chips here are excellent. They are crispy and the fish is fresh. The batter is done very well, in my opinion. It is tasty and delightful due to the crunch. The terrible thing about the place is its service though, it seemed to be awfully slow and waiters are not always attentive. I must say that this dampened our evening as the waits were relatively long considering that it was not packed that time. The other unfortunate aspect would be the price. Yes the fish is good but I think it's possible to find something of equivalent quality at a lesser price. So it's a good to visit but not a must. continue reading

Double Bay! I have always been a big fan of shepherd's pie. Absolutely love the slightly crispy outer coat with potato and chicken inside. It is very nicely baked to give it a golden brown colour and the mere sight of it already made it very irresistible. The sauce was also very good! Thumbs up! continue reading

for photos and more reviews, visit http://littlemomentsofmylife.wordpress.com (:i've never really been a fan of shepherd's pie ($18.90), but i was smitten once i took a bite of out this. a slightly crispy outer coat with soft mushy potato inside, with an absolutely tasty combination of premium australian minced beef, carrots, onions, celery and leek. it must have been the sauce that made it so wonderful. since the pies are a special feature of this restaurant, we definitely had to try more than one! (: the tender roasted chicken pie ($18.90) was a delight with the fluffy puff pastry topped with slices of chicken, and filled with a goodness of more chicken, roasted potatoes, mushrooms and carrots inside.we also ordered the caesar salad of baby romaine hearts ($13.90). the leaves of the salad were crunchy, and i loved the thin strips of prosciutto di parma ham and the sharp taste of the parmesan cheese shavings that complemented the veggies perfectly. the best part? under the pile of leaves was a beautiful sous vide egg that was so gorgeous we could hardly bear to burst it and who could resist the crunchy croutons continue reading

Ordered a steak that taste so-so, nothing special... but I'm very delighted by the creamy mash potato with rich butter! It is of a texture creamier than those in KFC/Popeye, very smooth~Service was alright but wish they have more indoor sears! continue reading
