These stewed chicken feets from Zhou's Kitchen is one of my favourite dish to order during their high tea hours. The chicken feets are very soft and moist, which is full of the fragrant from the different types of seasonings and sauces used to cook this dish. The cut chilli also added that extra spicyness to the chicken feet as well too. Usually i plate is not enough for me, and i will at least order three to four plates to satisfy my cravingness for this dish. continue reading

This fried beehun is not bad,it is really very Chinese style.Add lots of dark soy sauce to make it become black. They added lots of bean sprout too, this is what my mom usually do.Although it taste normal,i still quite like it because it got the home cooked taste. This "chicken" is nice. The meat is very soft and not dry as it looks. The skin is very crispy like those roasted duck.It serve with some chilli sauce, the chilli sauce is nice too.Dip with some chiili sauce make the chicken taste nicer. continue reading

I had Zhou's Kitchen lunch buffet that day. The restaurant was very quiet on a weekday afternoon. Only a few tables were occupied. There was a menu of items to order as part of the buffet and some self-service items too. The menu consisted of main dishes like meat, fish, seafood and vegetables while the self-service items consisted of some dim sum items and dessert. I really loved their fried bringals with pork floss and ordered two portions of it! The bringals were fried very well, it did not feel very oily at all. Some seasoning was sprinkled at the top, together with the pork floss, making it so much tastier! YUM.Dessert was part of their self service section. They had both hot and cold dessert. I loved the gui ling gao the most. It was very refreshing and had several portions of it since one portion is quite small. The cream puffs were in the freezer so they were a little too hard and frozen, not too nice. It was a vey filling yet satisfying lunch. continue reading

Zhou’s kitchen really do have really nice food. I went there for a big family gathering to celebrate one of my uncle’s birthday. My favorite dish of the day was their egg tart. The pastry is so crispy yet one bite and it completely flakes in your mouth. The custard is not too sweet, goes really well with the buttery pastry. I highly recommend this! continue reading
