So, I was lucky enough to win this chocolate log cake from the open rice review contest and I'm truly amazed by how huge this log cake is!! It is so heavy and takes up the entire fridge shelf! I wonder if the log cakes all have such a short expiry date because I collected mine from prima deli just 2 days ago and the box says it expires in 2 days? A life span of 4 days? The raspberries were already very soft and turninf sour. A sign that it really might only last 2 more days.. The chocolate truffle log cake itself is quite moist and soft, it isn't too sweet but the chocolate flake decorations are very very sweet! And it makes a huge mess when you try and cut the cake! The cake is indeed a huge treat to the family and we are very grateful to openrice and prima deli to be able to enjoy it! Please ser refer to the video I posted to see more of this log cake!  continue reading

The cheesy mushroom puff costs $1.90.  It is oily.  The puff has many layer of skin and the filling is little.  The cheesy mushroom also has cube of carrot as carrot can be seen.  The puff tastes good when it is fleshy baked. If the skin could be made more and more mushroom that would be an ideal cheesy mushroom. continue reading

I am a big fan of waffles since forever and Primadeli serve one of the best ones in Singapore! Even better, it is so affordable at only around $2 for the flavoured ones. I love chocolate and would most often buy the chocolate waffles. Another flavour which i love is peanut butter! They are having a promotion currently for a combination of 2 flavours and I takeaway the Peanut Butter and Honey flavour mixture, which is priced at $2.30. Their waffles are soft and fluffy and they consistently spread a generous amount of filling inside! continue reading
