As what the title says, Mr bean cafe is a place that never sleeps. Serving food and drinks anytime/ any day. Its a place that never fail to put a smile on my face! Went there a couple of days ago with my friends for supper and drinks. As we didnt want to have just the ordinary bar snacks, so we decided to head down for a proper sinful supper.First on list will be the mushroom soup. As for the taste, seriously i would say i will rather make do with Campbell soup. The flavour of the soup only came out when i added excessive amount of pepper and Tabasco, which made the soup more of Cream Of Tabasco! Rather disappointed!Second up will be the steak and the sausages. Im totally in love with the sausages! its has those kind of crispy outer skin which to me is considered a premium sausage! The outer layer skin of the sausage is crispy! Come to think of it, how many of us actually do get the chance of indulging in these kind of sausages on a daily basis? THUMBS UP!And as for the steak, we ordered it medium rare(like most of us do) and it turn out to be bloodier than usual but i still like it as i like the bloody taste! And to be shared will be the garlic bread, chicken wings and onion rings! Nothing special.*chicken wing always tastes better when u have the 2 bone in the middle removed and then eat it as a whole:mad:Anyway, to sum everything up, its always nice to have great friends together eating good food together isnt it? continue reading

Cream of Mushroom Soup - tasted like campbell soup with additional bits of mushrooms Cheese fries - Thick fries with melted cheese. Can be better it there are more cheese. Sirloin Steak - It was served with some green vegetables and mashed potatoes. The Steak was tender and juicy however, the mashed potatoes was a bit disappointing as it was served cold. ( not sure whether this is the standard norm that the potatoes are served cold with hot sauce) continue reading

I order the Baked Macaroni (Promo of the month) and friend order the set dinner with Deep-fried breaded fish fillet which comes with a soup of the day (corn soup), a desset of the day (ice cream) and a drink with choice of hot coffee/tea/soft drinks. The Baked Macroni is decent (anyway this is first time I ate baked Macaroni so cannot compare with others), served with salad and mashed potates.I personally find the Deep-fried breaded fish fillet has more bread then fish. The corn soup have the corn taste but still too dilute to my liking. We can choose chocolate/strawberry/vanilla for the ice cream, it's simple but with the chocolate sryup and a bit of peanuts chunks, I think I like this best for the set dinner :XA huge guy came over our seat, greet us to ask for feedback, I guess he is the owner. Although we didn't feedback to him cos we were caught by surprise but I like this as it makes me feel like I am oversea =) Singapore resturant owner just don't have the practice/time to talk to their customer most of the time. continue reading
