As the family is planning to board a flight at terminal 3, we decide to have our breakfast at the cafe as it is located at the departure hall. The cafe is quite open and not crowded. However we need to quite awhile to be served as they are a bit understaffed. The staff is quite friendly and reminds us that we have to wait awhile for food although they will try their best to be faster. The cafe offers breakfast sets served with regular coffee or English Breakfast tea, and is available till 11am. The coffee and tea are served with cute little cookies. The hot drinks taste not bad.All Star American Breakfast ($11.90++)Crispy bacon, chicken sausages, grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, eggs and hot toast. It looks a bit plain for the usual big breakfast. Nice and filling. Likes the sauteed mushrooms.Salmon On A Holiday ($11.90++)Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, fresh tomato slices and Arugula leaves on a tasty sesame bagel with zesty lemon cream spread.Could not taste the lemon spread, but the smoked salmon is not too salty.Mushroom Bruschetta Bash ($10.90++)Chorizo sausage and Portobello mushroom bruschetta, scrambled eggs and mesclun salad. It looks rather plain when served. The ugly looking paste on toast, actually tastes quite yummy delicious.Rise & Shine ($10.90++)French toast with tangy tomato chutney spread, ham and cheese, sauteed mushrooms and mesclun salad. The dish is not what I am expecting. It looks like a ham and cheese sandwich to me. Tastes not bad.Original Pancakes ($7.90++)Lightly drizzled with golden maple syrup, served with strawberry compote. The pancake is soft and fluffy, goes quite well with the slightly tart compote.Topup $3.90++ with Chipolata chicken sausage, 2 slices of bacon and sauteed mushrooms.Overall the breakfast sets are not bad and filling in servings. The service is great. The place is quiet and relaxing for a nice meal. continue reading

O'Coffee Club is another coffee haven that needs no introduction - since its days of being known merely as "The Coffee Club" till now. Well it still serves an extensive menu of cakes and interesting beverages concocted of coffee and tea etc; with some rather good main courses for those looking for a proper meal.I hang out sometimes at the Changi Airport Terminal 3's branch when I go to the East for work, sorting out my thoughts or simply needing some tranquility. Sad to note that service was getting from bad to worse - we were neglected half the time, to the extent I had to pour my own iced water.Anyway, to cut to the chase, I will be recommending two of my most favorite items there, the first being the Classic Caesar Salad in Homemade Cheese Basket (SGD$14.90) , and I would add smoked salmon (SGD$3.90) to complete the meal usually. In the past it was known was Salmon Caesar in Cheese Basket, but now I guess they allow more flexibility. One seldom gets a Caesar Salad done wrong, as I often say - and this does indeed contain all the essentials such as Romaine Lettuce, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, bacon bits, croutons, Parmesan and the mayonnaise which I usually ask them to do without. The Cheese Basket is crispy, and tastes of cheese in the right tone - not too strong or salty. It is a joy to have this at all times, and I have seen introduced it to a few friends aka converters. Now, the other darling of mine here is the Blackforest Blend (SGD$12.90) - all the must have ingredients of chocolate, coffee, cherries and a slosh or two of alcohol. I usually ask them to remove the cream. Anyway, this tastes just simply awesome and addictive - bittersweet in its own right. For full review and more photographs. please feel free to visit:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2014/11/lunch-at-ocoffee-club-changi-airport.html continue reading

Went to Coffee Club for some after dinner dessert. Ordered a strawberry shortcake and muddy mud pie to share. The strawberry shortcake tastes very good! The cake was spongy soft, and it didn't taste too creamy. The strawberries were sweet and complemented the soft cake well! Muddy mud pie was great too! I like the combination of coffee and chocolate ice cream, a little bitter taste amongst the sweetness. I also had the ice chocolate, which was just ordinary. Although it tasted sweet, there wasn't the chocolatey taste. My friend had the Minty Lychee Tea Freeze, which was very refreshing. Not too sweet and it was a good combination of mint and lychee. Definitely would have that the next time! continue reading

After sending a friend off at the airport, we decided to head to Coffee Club located at Changi Airport Terminal 3 for some drinks. I ordered the strawberry smoothie ice blended which costs around $7.90. It tasted awesome especially for a warm day. The drink is chilled with the ice blend and had strawberry bites in it. It was blended with milk too and I liked the milk taste of it. Great place to chill with people. continue reading

The O'Coffee Club or commonly known as Coffee Club has a branch at Changi Airport Terminal 3 arrival hall. The cafe is located at the corner of the arrival hall having a cozy ambience we great view of the hall. I had the Black Pepper Duck Linguine. It has tender slices of smoked black pepper duck breast, arranged over a mound of linguine topped with gruyere cheese and black pepper cream sauce. The cream sauce was really "Oishi" but felt cheated as the portion was rather small. continue reading
