Was craving for some authentic US burgers so we decided to drive by Fatboy's at Pasir Panjang. There's a public carpark right beside the place so it's not difficult to find a parking space though the shop is facing the big road. There's a bus stop right infront so it is still accessible to reach the place. As usual, was spoil with choices of the different kinds of burgers served there. Decided to order their "Whimpy" Burger and "The Jamaican Me" The whimpy burger (beef) is the smaller version of their fat bastard. Specially opt for the honey oat bun instead of the usual sesame bun. Turn out the bun is too hard to bite (haha) and i still prefer the sesame bun in the end. There's also a frying egg and bacon to go with the burger.I prefer the Jamaican me. Consist of a pork patty, coslaw and bacon. Their patty is very salty though, but it's still moist for the pork patty. Overall i still prefer swensen's burger compare to fat boy's. continue reading

If you are in a mood to indulge on burgers and fats, well fat boy is certainly one burger joint that you can try! As the name suggest - FAT boy, yup this outlet is probably not very concern about health, so if you are a health freak, please do stay away. I am not exactly a burger fan, but oh well, I dont really mind it once in a while and especially if it serves good proper solid beef / chicken / lamb patty.I am glad to declare my combination of burger is delicious. Solid beef patty with and mayo! yum! continue reading

There aren't a lot of places to eat in my neighborhood (Pasir Panjang), so when an outlet of Fat Boy's Burger Bar opened up I knew I had to check it out.The menu has a lot of really unique burger creations... Mexican burger with gucamole and chilis, an Elvis burger with bananas and peanut butter sauce, and the massive Fat Bastard burger. After some time looking over the specialty menu, I went with the pork burger stuffed with bacon and topped with pineapple and caramelized onions. When it arrived it looked great! As usual, I put some ketchup on the first bite, but it was totally unnecessary - the burger was more delicious on its own. Even the bun was delicious - I think they bake their own. The fries were a bit lack-luster in terms of taste - they'd really benefit from some seasoning salt or something like that. I think thick-cut fries really need something like that so they don't taste bland. Service was great too - really friendly and fast! Prices are a bargain compared to other burger joints like Brewerkz. Most of the specialty burgers are around $14 with fries. There also seems to be a lunch special at the Pasir Panjang location which I'll check out sometime in the future. continue reading

We went to Fatboy's the burger bar to celebrate our friends birthday as our "birthday friend" love to eat burger so much so we treated her this.I had ordered the cheesy chicken burger. The burger come with fries. The fries tasted normal but the burger tasted quite delicious. The melted cheese, flavourful chicken and fresh tomatoes were a good combination. Will revisit this restaurant again. continue reading

For my friend's 20th, we headed down to Fatboy's TBB for dinner.I ordered a Cheesy Chicken Burger which I shared with a friend. The burger was served with fries and the portion was rather large. The chicken patty was huge, thick and juicy and the cheese was melted well. The melted cheese, flavourful chicken and fresh tomatoes were a good combination. It was definitely a wise decision to share the burger with a friend as it was very filling despite the burger being shared. At 12 bucks, this is definitely worth your money! Also, the ambience of this place is very laidback. Perfect for a day out with friends to just chill and hang out! continue reading
