Super love the food here! I always order the Tom Yum soup base whenever I dine. It's spicy and flavorful, and can make your nose run.Steamboat full of yummy goodness.Went there on a weekday afternoon because of their student promotion, which is really very worth it. Drinks however, are not included in the buffet price though.Service is relatively quick, considering that there are many tables around, in which the restaurant is quite full. Two thumbs up! continue reading

One of the best steam boat at that price. The is limited number of food selections and variations. The location itself plus lighting makes it look less appealing and looks dirty. But once you enter the restaurant, it is quite clean. Definitely would go there again at some point. Did not try the standard dish menu. continue reading

Of course the first thing I took picture of was the sauce! It was set nicely on the table for each of us in the private room.Lucky we had the private room as it was more comfortable and we had more privacy. If your common sense seems to lag,you will know that we can be very noisy and vulgar (army style). Anyway, back to the sauce, typical Thai style, mildspiciness with plenty of chopped parsley. I dipped everything into it before eating as it just tasted so good! Workedespecially well as gravy over the noodles too. Our steamboat pots were arranged in the form of a Bermuda Triangle. (2 chicken stock and 1 Tom Yam) Like the actualBermuda Triangle, almost everything that went into those pots to cook, would disappear into our stomach. Sadly exceptfor those meatballs (shrimp, beef or chicken), they had magnetic field problems which our stomachs repelled. (Explanation later!) We ordered a few rounds of ingredient to add into our 'Bermuda Triangle'. Although the variety was not a lot, it was counter-balanced by the freshness of the ingredients. Time for the meatballs part. Seeing this picture was enough to make me wanting to puke. Not sure why but these meatballs left the most memorable impression for us. We ordered too many of them and ended up for the last half an hour, we had plenty of meatballs in the pots. I myself ate more than 10 of them and totally did not want any more to appear in front of my eyes. continue reading

I went to coca for their steamboat cos I cannot get enough of their chilli dip. Their steamboat is pretty reasonably priced, they have a lot of varieties for their dishes. The vegetables variety is a lot, my girlfriend really love to order their vegetables cos they make the soup sweeter and goes well with the chilli dip. The chilli dip is not too spicy, but it is a little sourish, goes well with everything, you can even eat it with white rice, it makes the white rice taste really good. continue reading
