Super love the food here! I always order the Tom Yum soup base whenever I dine. It's spicy and flavorful, and can make your nose run.Steamboat full of yummy goodness.Went there on a weekday afternoon because of their student promotion, which is really very worth it. Drinks however, are not included in the buffet price though.Service is relatively quick, considering that there are many tables around, in which the restaurant is quite full. Two thumbs up!

Steamboat full of yummy goodness.

Went there on a weekday afternoon because of their student promotion, which is really very worth it.

Drinks however, are not included in the buffet price though.

Service is relatively quick, considering that there are many tables around, in which the restaurant is quite full.

Two thumbs up!

One of the best steam boat at that price. The is limited number of food selections and variations. The location itself plus lighting makes it look less appealing and looks dirty. But once you enter the restaurant, it is quite clean. Definitely would go there again at some point. Did not try the standard dish menu.

spiciness with plenty of chopped parsley. I dipped everything into it before eating as it just tasted so good! Worked
especially well as gravy over the noodles too.
Our steamboat pots were arranged in the form of a Bermuda Triangle. (2 chicken stock and 1 Tom Yam) Like the actual
Bermuda Triangle, almost everything that went into those pots to cook, would disappear into our stomach. Sadly except
for those meatballs (shrimp, beef or chicken), they had magnetic field problems which our stomachs repelled. (Explanation later!) We ordered a few rounds of ingredient to add into our 'Bermuda Triangle'. Although the variety was not a lot, it was counter-balanced by the freshness of the ingredients. Time for the meatballs part. Seeing this picture was enough to make me wanting to puke. Not sure why but these meatballs left the most memorable impression for us. We ordered too many of them and ended up for the last half an hour, we had plenty of meatballs in the pots. I myself ate more than 10 of them and totally did not want any more to appear in front of my eyes.

I went to coca for their steamboat cos I cannot get enough of their chilli dip. Their steamboat is pretty reasonably priced, they have a lot of varieties for their dishes. The vegetables variety is a lot, my girlfriend really love to order their vegetables cos they make the soup sweeter and goes well with the chilli dip. The chilli dip is not too spicy, but it is a little sourish, goes well with everything, you can even eat it with white rice, it makes the white rice taste really good.

Just a couple of days back, I revisit coca with a group of my friends, they were craving for the sourish spicy chilli sauce that coca has. The sauce is pretty addictive, I had to dip everything in it and kept calling for refill. The fish glue is one of the more popular dishes here, it is made up of minced fish. We also ordered their chicken meatball, it was the homemade kind not the frozen ones. I like their ingredients, very little of it is frozen so their food is really fresh.

I went to coca restaurant with my family. We had a relative who just came back from overseas so we decided to treat this relative to a nice meal. we ordered quite a lot of their ingredients. I must say their fish glue is really delicious. We ordered two plates of it. The soup I must say is really tasty, I have a unique way of drinking the soup, I will add the chilli sauce and mix it with the soup. this makes the soup taste sourish and spicy. Do try it, you won’t regret it.

A standard round of dishes will be served, then you can re-order other dishes in the buffet menu as much as you can eat.

The food are decent, meats are not marinade, most of the seafood are fresh but not for the fish head which has a strong fishy smell.

The chilli sauce was not as good as before, less spicy and more sweet now. The Fish Glue, House Special Shrimp Ball, House Special Dumpling and Green Noodle are not to be miss! Beef Fillet are slice too thick, other meats were decent.

- My Opinion
I have visited the Coca Restaurant at Bangkok, Thailand, the food there are cheaper and more varieties of food on the buffet menu compare to Singapore. Then again, its on different currency.

I frequent Coca Restaurant quite often in the past, but had not dine there for the past... 6-years or more. The soup still taste pretty much the same and the tom yum is getting better. The steamboat food are quite standard as they are raw and does not require any marinade. We did not order the cooked ala carte so I can't comment much.

Service was very slow and not attentive. Perhaps this is due to Mother's Day crowd, the restaurant is super busy, subsequent round of food took 15-20min to arrive and we are seated in the VIP room where all the crews won't be able to see us unless they come to check our room more often.

The winning secret from this steamboat is the sweetness of their soup base, which does not include any MSG and un-natural flavour in it. All the nice flavour comes from the different types of meat and vegetables, and also the spices that boiled for several hours to produce it. The ingredients served here are also very fresh, especially like their different types of vegetables which are generous in portion and a healthy choice for everyone as well. However the price is quite high here, and may
