- Good food presentation plays a big part in great food photos. Where are some of your restaurants that have wow-ed you with their plating skills? Lola's Cafe & La Marelle. They put a lot of effort in the plating and make sure that every dish looks as beautiful as it tastes!
- What are some of your favourite dishes to photograph (and why)? Eggs benedict! There is a variety of colours and layering in this dish, which provides multiple angles for creative photography! Latte is another must-shoot for food bloggers as well – how can we let the barista’s artwork go to waste?
- Food bloggers are known to have their food cold. What would you say to that? It is true that we fiddle around with the food for a while, but the food doesn’t usually turn cold that quickly so we still get to enjoy the food while it’s warm. Something like a sundae is more tricky - it can probably stay unmelted for the first 2 minutes. Any longer and you’ll have a melting picture – but then that isn't too bad either.
- Hand models. Yay or nay? Yay, when there's a beautiful hand around the table!
- In your opinion, what are the three cardinal sins you have committed as a food blogger?
- Giving death stares to anyone who attempts to disrupt a picture
- Forcing friends to volunteer themselves as hand models
- Making friends shift their belongings such as phones and wallets which are on the table if it’s blocking a good shot
