Now, who wants to be served with someone who looks like the sun has gone down on him? No one. So, it’s important for the barista to manage a smile despite a long hard day at work. If you’re served by someone who gives you that million dollar smile, it makes it so much easier to give him a tip.
2. He’s patient when you order
There are times when you reach the counter and suddenly, you decide that you want to order something different. If there’s not much of a queue, he allows you to take some time to decide on what to get. He’s not the type who would look at his watch nor tap his fingers on the table. That would just be plain annoying.

Everyone appreciates a creatively -decorated cup of latte. That doesn’t just tell you that the bartender’s an artist, it also says that he’s an expert at making this type of drink. Just so you know, if the foam consistency is good and the shot was pulled well, the image stays put (until you destroy it).
4. He knows his stuff
Sometimes, you can’t help but ask questions about this new drink they’re having or what makes this milk different from the other one; so on and so forth. And if the bartender can answer all your questions, then you know you and your drink are in good hands because he trained well.
5. He has memorised your ‘regular’

It can be quite irritating when you’ve been going to this coffee place for eternity and your resident bartender still doesn’t know your “usual”. It would definitely earn him some brownie points when you just arrive there and he just hands you the cup to jumpstart you on a hectic day.
6. He loves coffee
Seriously, it’s an added plus if your bartender is a coffee lover like you.
