Bloggers Go Food Hunting at 313@Somerset
2013-10-10
The newly revamped Food Hall at the basement of 313@Somerset is home to a number of new and exciting dining outlets including Thailand’s popular MK Restaurant, a Korean street food stall Dong Dae Mun, and lots more. OpenRice invited a few bloggers down for a Food Hunt challenge to check out some of these new food haunts and also get to experience our brand new OpenRice Singapore iOS mobile app first-hand!

ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE? The bloggers were divided into 5 teams and each team was given a budget of $150 to spend at 5 different eateries around 313@Somerset. At every stop, the bloggers were asked to order at least 2 dishes, snap photos and submit reviews using our new app, plus making sure they finish all their food before moving on to the next stop. Sounds simple? Well, it’s not all that easy when you have to finish a plate of German sausages from Brotzeit after having just eaten two baskets of dim sum from Bao Today, and with another 3 more pit stops to go.

SUBMIT REVIEWS ON-THE-GO Our bloggers also got to put their food photography and writing skills to the test by submitting reviews on-the-go using our new iOS mobile app. Using the new app, they were able to easily snap a photo of their food and position it wherever they want within their review.
