Singapore's very own Southern Louisiana-Asian Seafood restaurant, Crab in Da Bag, celebrates their first-year anniversary with a Caboodle Festival held this Saturday, 4 October 2014, from 2 to 5pm. This popular festival native to Louisiana will be transported to Singapore where Crab in da Bag will host the very first and largest outdoor seafood boil – their signature Caboodle Boil.
This giant-sized boil will be six foot long in a huge custom built boat. The boil will feature a range of premium shellfish such as lobsters and crabs, coupled with globe artichokes, sweet corn and Bratwurst sausages.
Expect also, a live demonstration of the boiling preparation and process by special guest Chef Louise Leonard -- winner of The Taste Season 2 from New York -- together with Crab in da Bag founder A.P Tan and Head Chef Terence Lim.
In the midst of festivities, there will also be a feature on craftwork handmade by the less fortunate in a collaborative project called Charity on Board. A lucky draw competition will also be held for a chance for customers to try their luck in the Somersby Apple Tree Lucky Draw.
