Looking for a place serving good afternoon tea? Head down to Atrium at Pan Pacific with a couple of friends and savour their new Peranakan Afternoon Tea and English Afternoon Tea menus, which are available from 2-6pm daily.
The Traditional Nyonya Chicken Curry is the star of the Peranakan Afternoon Tea Menu. Best paired with the French Baguette, the curry is spicy without overpowering the taste of the tender chicken. Other traditional favourites include the Nyonya Kueh Pie Tee, Traditional Penang Popiah and Apam Balik, a fluffy pancake filled with peanuts.
If you prefer a light treat, there’s also Ondeh Ondeh, Ang Ku Kueh and handmade Local Old School Biscuit for you to enjoy.
Savoury selections from the English Afternoon Tea Menu include Charcoal Bun with Smoked Salmon, Beetroot Bun with Crab Meat and Avocado while the sweets range from a dainty Homemade Lollipop, colourful Assorted Macarons to Lemon Meringue Tart. The lollipop is soft, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture while the Lemon Meringue Tart is zesty and crumbles easily.
