Seafood buffet at Ellenborough Market Cafe
Before you dig into the main course, why don’t you tease your palate first with their scrumptious starters. Choose from their seafood appetizers which consist of Crabmeat Charred Corn and Risoni Pasta Salad, Wild Rice and Octopus Salad seasoned with a variety of dressings and condiments, and the Prawn and Mango Salad.
As for Ellenborough Market Café's mouth-watering bounty from the sea, give in to your cravings with their newly-pickled shellfish featuring Freshly Sucked Oysters, Half Shell Scallops, and their signature Sheng Yu Salad. If smoked and curded seafoods are what you’re craving for, then get a load of their Smoked Deep Sea Mackerel with Pepper, Smoked Gravlax, Smoked Norwegian Cod, and the Marinated Herring in Dill.
Of course, it doesn’t stop there. Their fiesta is made to boost your appetite with a medley of Fried Capelin, Ocean Farm Barramundi, Nile Perch, and many more. Enhance their flavors with their wide array of dips of Coriander Pesto, spicy Sambal Oelek, and the Shallot Oil with Sea Salt.

Crayfish cooked in Black Pepper or Black Bean Sauce
As for the Ellenborough Market Café's signature dishes, of course they would also be serving their infamous crayfish cooked in Black Pepper or Black Bean Sauce and stir-fried prawns with oatmeal, wasabi or kung po with cashew nuts. Just the sound of it would definitely make your mouth water. What more if it’s already laid in front of your table? Other highlights on their menu are the Fisherman Stew, Escolar Teriyaki with Orange and Sesame, Seafood Terrine, and their Mahi in Sambal (served during dinner).

Durian for dessert, anyone?
A buffet wouldn’t really be a buffet without variety. And so comes dishes from their Peranakan cuisine which include the Baby Assam and the Kueh Pie Tie. As for their finale, they have desserts which can cater to the sweet tooths—Yam Paste with Gingko nuts, Green Tea and Azuki Bean Swiss Rolls, and their Raspberry Chocolate Truffles.
