Shelling Out for Charity

Take a walk along Scotts Road and you might see shells not on the seashore. In celebration of Singapore's seventh Grand Prix, the culinary team from Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts continues its annual tradition of creating life-sized race cars. This year, they return with a shellfish idea. Recycled shells from seafood consumed at the buffet restaurant will be used in this year's masterpiece, which will be on display from 18 Aug to 21 Sep on their newly renovated facade. Take a selfie with the car and post it to Royal Plaza on Scott's Facebook Page with your guess to the weight of shells used to win a 2D1N weekend stay in an Executive Suite, plus a dinner for two at Carousel. But before you take that picture, do your part and shell out for charity with Community Chest's Care and Share Movement.
