Who doesn’t want to live a healthy life? And while we’re still in the early part of the New Year, it may be a good time to change your eating habits. You can start by stocking your fridge with “healthy foods”.
However, be careful for there are a lot of items in the market which you may think are healthy, but are really not. To start you off, we list five of them:
Granola Bars
Granola bars have gained reputation as a healthy breakfast item because they are rich in oats, nuts, and even dried fruits. But those ingredients aside, one packet of this energy food is actually loaded with sugary syrups, fats, and artificial ingredients which don’t really differentiate it from high-calorie bars.
Instead of buying these expensive granola bars, why not just stick to plain old oatmeal? Make it more interesting and prepare it from scratch. And for that added taste, mix it up with fresh fruits!
