It is over 6pm already, almost all the stall closed.Just left the chicken rice stall and the yong taufu.Don't feel like wanna eat chicken rice,so i ordered this guan lou hor fun.It is the dry type hor fun.With the black soy sauce and some special sauce.It taste not bad,but it is too dry.So i request some soup from the uncle.I like the fish ball as it is big and soft,spongy.Add some chilli padi made it taste better.

chicken rice is one of the famous dish in singapore so there are widely available in any food court. the chicken rice at koufu is quite popular and consider quite nice compared to south canteen's. the chicken is tender and not dry, but the rice is not moist and it's too dry. the gravy in the rice is tasty which i think it's just soy sauce plus chicken soup.. anyway this plate of rice is quite filling only with the bowl of soup.

When I feeling not well or have not appetite or feeling too full, i will choose to go for porridge. The porridge from koufu chicken rice stall tasted quite nice and the price is very affordable. $2 for one bowl of porridge, but the portion will be quite small.The porridge on that day tasted a little bit too salty for me as you can see in the picture, the porridge was full with soya sauce, but I do like the sesame oil smell. It made me felt like got appetite to finish the porridge.

After long hours studying at library. Finally I went down to had dinner with my friend^^ I ordered 1 drumstick roasted chicken rice. I came with soup too. The chicken was well cooked and the meat was very tender. It was nice having with chilli and black sauce ^^;; The rice was nice. It's not broken into half or too dry. I enjoyed my chicken rice so much!! My friend wanted to try so I let him have some too :'>

Koufu in Nanyang Polytechnic is definitely the place to go when I'm craving for chicken rice! They have a wide variety of chicken rice and their roasted one is my favourite! Their roasted chicken is cooked to perfection. Chicken rice is super super nice. However, I like it better if the there's more skin on the chicken overall, super good!
