Tucked behind Ajisen is Fruit Paradise which is the gem of nicely decorated fresh fruit tarts! My first impression of Fruit Paradise is that they only sell fruit tarts and so I was shocked my friends suggested meeting here for dinner. Yes, I always wanted to try their fruit tarts but I have never stepped into this restaurant before today and I wondered if fruit tarts for dinner will be enough? Luckily, my friends told me they also served omu rice. So I asked them to help me order a fried prawn
Luckily, my friends told me they also served omu rice. So I asked them to help me order a fried prawn omu rice as I made my way there. When I reached, the food was still in process and not ready yet. Waited quite long before the food was served. The fried prawn omu rice is really tasty with their mushroom tomato sauce. It also falls under the chef recommendation category. A perfect combination with a truly special taste for the omelette. There are other sauces to choose from too, like Demiglace sauce, mushroom cream sauce, curry sauce, etc. The fried prawn is fresh and the rice used is not just plain white rice. For dessert, we ordered two fruit tarts that cost $7.80 each. One is the mango and strawberry fruit tart with custard base. The mangoes and strawberries are sweet like honey and not sour at all. Very delicious. For this mixed fruit tart, we got to try 9 different variety of fresh fruits on a creamy custart mousse! No wonder it's the No 1 Bestseller in the menu. There's blueberries, banana, kiwi, strawberry, mango, green apple, red apple, etc. It makes sinful dessert looks healthy too. Really enjoyed dining here with great food and fruit tarts!
