This should be heralded as the best bakery in town. BROWNIE WALNUT ($1, usual $1.50) is the best brownie I've ever tasted, the one back home which is the champion and renown throughout the whole tourist world looses. Thick in its brownie dough, a slight bitterness gets to the tip of your tongue with the balance of walnuts spread on top to give the 'tea' like taste. With the price as well, who wouldn't complain? But seriously, this is such a gem. No other bakery does the same for the amazing price - they don't go cheap on the chocolate!
However, this time I tried their real pans/breads, which is the sausage and ham and cheese. Frankly, their sizes are quite small for $1 when night promo, their breads are so soft, fluffy and very delectable in taste! Different from most main bakery chains where yes, it should look big, but it's empty and airy for the dough. This one is small but compact. Makes you want to bite bite more! For taste, it should be an upgraded self from most chain bakeries, so I'll continue on all my tryings at mama patisserie!
