Whenever I'm around Novena area, I have to drop by this bakery!! It is my favourite bakery thus far and I really wish it's near my house! I love the flavour of matcha and bought the half loaf of the Greentea Azuki loaf (as I'm the only one in my family who loves that flavour). Anyway, they also have other flavours available and the half loaf is 5 slices while the whole loaf is 10. The matcha flavour is very light actually but makes a good combination with the azuki beans! After viewing so much good reviews about how generous the filling of their bread offered, I decided to give it a try. I was planned to get my favorite pumpkin bread but unfortunately it was not available during my visit. I only able to get the matcha red bean bread on my last visit. As you can see from the picture, their filling is really generous and not exaggerated. The weight of the bread can show you everything when you hold the bread on your hand.

As I ended school earlier today, I made a trip down to my favourite bakery shop! I had a cup of their own UCC coffee blend and a Banana Caramel Chocolate bun. I tried their Green Tea Anpan bun and Yam bun previously and both were good! Both buns were so generously filled and likewise for this bun, it is also stuffed with banana and chocolate! I came to know of this shop's existence when I was walking around Square 2 after lunch. I was tempted to get all the breads as they look so good! The first one that caught my eye was this Green Tea Anpan! I decided to get that and the Sesame Yam bun for tea break. The green tea anpan is a matcha mixed dough filled with japanese azuki red bean. Mushroom Cheese (After 7 promotion : $1.50)It is a rather big piece of bun, filled with lots of melted cheese and slices of button mushrooms.Turkey Bacon Mayo (After 7 promotion : $1.50)What caught my eye is the patch of yellowish sauce in the middle of the bun. Inside the bun is filled with bits of bacons mixed with mashed potato. The yellowish patch tastes like mustard. A better combination would be nacho cheese.

After work, I have came down here to check out the After 7pm promotion. It has been awhile since I have tasted the bread at this bakery. This bakery has been setup by a friendly Japanese aunty (Why I know she is friendly 'cos she said hello to my mom when we were in a restaurant in Square2). I always like the Ham Potato Mayo ($1.40) as the mash potato filling inside is very soft and flavourful.Today I also have found a new flavour Orange Peel ($1.60), which has chopped orange peel on top and tasted crunchy with the orange peel inside the filling.

It has been a long since I last visited this bakery. The last time I walked past this place, it was closed for renovation. Today it is quite crowded on a public holiday's afternoon. I try to look for my old favourite Mentaiko Mayo Bun but cannot find.Decide to try Spinach Poached Pear Bun($1.60) as it sounds quite interesting. At the first bite, it is full of sweet cream cheese. Inside there is chunks of soft but firm pear. As for the spinach, I suspect it is used in making the bun to look green

All their breads are seriously DELICIOUS enticing, delicious and reasonably priced! It has a strange effect on passers-by... people cannot resist but to stop by and buy something back!!!I love their cheese scone best; it's not too heavy and tastes perfect with a cup of hot tea!Try their green tea red bean bun too; seriously, there is so much filling!! They are very generous with that! It is not too sweet and the texture is lovely.

the bread in this shop always tempt me to buy it especially after the first time i tried it. the red bean bread is very nice, i love the red bean paste the most. the red bean is finely blended or mashed, though a bit sweet but not too thick. the bread is fragrant and soft, not the hard and firm type which i dont like. and the red bean paste given is in generous portion, so i always love buying from this shop.

This sesame yam bread is nice.The yam filling is very thick and not too sweet too.the sesame bun is soft and it is very full.I doesn't like the bread sell from bread talk,which is very hollow.I like this outlet's bread,it is a bit expensive but i think it is very worth as the bread really high quality.

The bread there is healthy and they are so attractive.It always been sold out around 7pm.This red bean walnut cost $1.80 each.There is a thick layer of the tasty and sweet red bean paste inside.And i like the crunchy walnut too.It is really very tasty and i really like itThe bread is soft enough and it make me feel full.The sesame yam one is also nice.But i more like this because i'm a red bean lover..!

There is always a variety to choose from, buns, rolls, cakes, sweet, savoury, etc... a bit overpriced for just bread/dough, but I guess no one comes close enough for them to compete on prices so prices stay high. Always fresh, nothing tastes off ever, unlike a lot of neighbourhood shops or other bakeries which try to copy bread talk but just cannot make it! Service is the same - gruff, quick, efficient, stuff your bread into a bag, grab your money and move on.

This should be heralded as the best bakery in town.
