I was torn between to compare all the nasi lemaks in this Tiong Bahru market and to try something else which was their lontong, recommended here. Surprisingly, the the lontong and mee siam was $2.50 On other reviews, it stated that their nasi lemak was previously $1.50 and the rest $2. This is an amazing price but I could see the tape they covered over the old price, so it was true, but maybe because of the recession. But for this price, the serving portion was not bad at all, this is a pretty go

But for this price, the serving portion was not bad at all, this is a pretty good steal and the taste is authentic! Truthfully, I wanted to try this stall of the cheap nasi lemak price. But when I knew it was all now in general the same price, of $2.50.

I ordered the lontong, which not only had lontong and the curry soup, but a big sized fried tofu, and she gave an egg, the vegetables. It was quite a big portion and I'm surprise! The taste was also good - although a bit bland for a 'curry' as we might know it should be super rich in taste and spices, this one is not so rich but I guess good for half of the nation who doesn't/cant stand the thickness of something.

The mee siam, as I only tried a spoon, was not bad too! Another try next time!
