We had the Couple Set which was essentially two types of mini hot pot- The "Scandalously Spicy Shrimp" and their signature Chicken hotpot. Each mini hot pot is meant for 1 person. This set costs about $30 (including service and GST). I did not find this meal satisfactory and it's quite overpriced for two hotpot. The prawn hot pot was interesting. The prawn hot pot was interesting. The prawns served were big and succulent. The prawns were deep fried before being placed in the hotpot. Tucked underneath the prawns were fries and some celery and cucumber slices, drenched in a sambal based gravy. The fries were surprisingly good, fried to a perfect crispy golden brow. But the fries at the bottom would have been drenched in the sambal/tom yum gravy, making it soggy and less palatable.

The chicken hot pot, very much like claypot chicken contains bits of chicken served in black sauce and bits of capsicum, onion and celery. The chicken hot pot is simply overrated. The chicken meat was really normal, not much meat, lots of bones. The sauce was too salty.

Apparently, the staff can add water to your hotpot and you can order optional items like vegetables and other steamboat items to add into your hotpot. Each item costs about $1.50-$3.50.

In sum, food here is not worth it. Go for cheaper (and tastier) claypot chicken options from nearby food courts or go for steamboat buffet if you are craving for steamboat.

On the positive side, the service here was not too bad. The waiters are generally attentive, occasionally checking and adjusting the flames of the hotpot if it gets too big.
