I was at Boon Lay Place together with my friend to get some groceries and decided to have our lunch there directly instead of going home. The ban mian stall looks quite alright, so I ordered two bowls for the both of us from them. I didn't realise that their ban mians can also be ordered in the dry version when the customer after me ordered it, but it is too late as my order is already prepared. Anyway, my ban mian costs $3, and it comes with egg, minced meat, vegetables and ikan billis. The ikan billis is very salty, so I didn't eat it.

As for the noodles, it is quite nice, not too hard. The soup is also tasty and the egg is semi cooked such that the yolk is still runny. I love eggs like that as I love slurping the yolk up, though I must take extra care to ensure that the yolk does not drip into the soup. The minced meat is quite well seasoned and I thought the chilli is a good pairing with the meat. The next time I am there, I will try the dry version.
