Went Peranakan Inn for dinner. Place was full and we had to wait about 15mins. Ordered dishes and food took another 15-20mins. Out of all the dishes, the ngo hiang was the best, its skin is crispy and the meat tasted really yummy. The ayam siol was not bad either, the sauce was quite yummy. The sambal sotong was okay, very ordinary. However, the other dishes were quite disappointing and came in very small portions. The bakwan kepiting tasted like there was a lot of pepper added to it. I felt they didn't cook the otak enough as it was still very soft. The chap chye sauce was a little blend. All in all, the food here doesn't taste like authentic peranakan food at all, was quite a disappointing dinner. (plus the service wasn't good)
