First time trying the famous bak chor mee in Hong Lim. Had the $4 dry mee kia, quite a small portion of mee but packed with lots of ingredients including meatballs, liver, dumpling, minced meat. There was a lot of liver which I dun eat, maybe next time I should request for no liver. Other than that, it was a yummy bowl of mee, love the mee, the dumpling, even the soup was rich and tasty. It is definitely msg free coz I could only taste the real and true taste of the ingredients, mee and soup. No

Now, I know why it is more expensive than the usual hawker fare with prices of $4, $5 and $6.
