As it is quite a hot day, I decided to have dessert at the hawker centre. The desserts here are rather affordable as the price range from $1.50 onwards and there are quite a lot of varieties of desserts as well. I ordered a bowl of ice jelly cocktail which costs only $1.50. The portion is slightly smaller than what I could get outside but since I am only eating it alone, the serving is just right. I ordered a bowl of ice jelly cocktail which costs only $1.50. The portion is slightly smaller than what I could get outside but since I am only eating it alone, the serving is just right. The ice jelly is slightly sweet and eaten with the ice and flavoured syrup, the sweetness level is just right. The cocktail is quite standard, it is probably canned fruit cocktail which are easily available at supermarkets. While the taste is just average, it is an affordable treat to cool yourself down on a hot day.
