One weekday afternoon, we headed to Straits Cafe at Rendezvous Hotel for a sumptuous lunch. The buffet was pretty good, with a wide spread of variety. Some of the highlights were their laksa, crabs and durian desserts which I tremendously enjoyed. Their sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious! Also equally good was their crabs and prawns. Some of the highlights were their laksa, crabs and durian desserts which I tremendously enjoyed. Their sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious! Also equally good was their crabs and prawns. There were many types of durian desserts like durian puffs, durian puree (my favorite), cakes and crepes. Service was average though. The staffs were not very attentive as they forgot to fill our glasses with water. The buffet could be better with more drinks offered instead of just coffee/tea/tea-tarik. Best if there were a vending machine for drinks! =p
