It's an after-birthday-dinner chit-chat session, my fren recommended us to go Chocolate DeStenation near Marche as she's a manager of the chain. By the look of it we thought it's an expensive cafe and the 1-for-1 Hot Chocolate sign wasn't attractive enough.To our pleasant surprise, it's even cheaper than starbucks but serves traditional Italian confectionery. To our pleasant surprise, it's even cheaper than starbucks but serves traditional Italian confectionery. The classic Hot Chocolate is only $5 & after 1-for-1 promo it's just $2.5!!! I always hate hot chocolate for it's too sweet for me, while some other places serves what tastes like made from instant powder packets. However this one @ DeSte makes me want a second cup! It has a thick melted chocolate layer on top, but the whole thing doesn't taste too sweet, u know the kind tat doesn't make you thirsty.
We ordered a truffle cheesecake too, it doesn't taste like our usual cheesecake but it's nice nevertheless.
Creme Brule Tea (Hot) was good, great for a chatting session. But the Affogato was unexpectedly disappointing. According to my fren who ordered it, the ice-cream was too sweet and doesn't taste blending with the espresso. I only looked at it but I feel that TCC one would taste better.
Quickly go grab the classic hot chocolate while promotion last! I already crave for it.
