I was craving for some traditional snacks and thus got these kueh tutus which cost $2.80 for 5. The kueh tutus are made freshly on the spot. The white exterior is too thick, thus making it rather dry. I tried the coconut and peanut filling. Even though I am not a fan of coconut kueh tutu, this is yummy but the coconut fillings could be more fine (texture) and it was a little sweet for me. The peanut fillings are finely grounded and sweet too. However, I do realize that the tutu kueh sticks on the pandan leaf and it breaks apart easily.

I was craving for some light bites and decided to get the tutu kueh from Eastern Rice Dumpling since it has been quite a while where I had tutu kuehs. I ordered three peanut and two coconut tutu kuehs. The cost for the tutu kueh is $2.50 for 5. I ordered takeaway and to my disappointment, the tutu kuehs stuck on to the pandan leaf of the neighbouring tutu kueh. As such, the tutu split into half when I tried to separate the tutu cake from each other. It is quite frustrating as it has all disintegrated. Moreover, the tutu flour is also tough and the fillings are quite little. I don’t think I will buy it again.

Brought a box of their ang ku kueh which consists of the dou sar and the peanut fillings. The kueh is pretty well made, the skin is not too thick and has a soft and chewy texture. As for the fillings wise, the peanut has a fine texture with sugar added in it. Sweetness wise is not too sweet and is acceptable. Other than ang ku kueh, this stall also sell a variety of other kueh such as the soon kueh and several dumplings as well. Price start from 80 cents for a piece of ang ku kueh and $3.30 for a box of 5.

would not recommend this muah chee although i love this chain for their dumpling and corn and tutu. their muah chee is not very good at all. the peanut is rather soft and soggy. the muah chee is chewy. but overall although it tastes fresh, it's just not fragrant and does not have the traditional muah chee feel and taste. not recommended. the peanut is also not crunchy and not sugary enough. i have to say it's kind of a failed muah chee! there are a lot of better muah chees out there...
