I had Lee Wee & Brothers’ Beehoon lunch box. It costs $3.50 and comprising fish otah, ikan Bilis & Peanut, fishcake, crispy chicken and sambal chilli. It is a reasonable price lunch box. The beehoon is not as tasty as nasi lemak, the fish otah does not go well with beehoon. Suggest to have fish ball. The ikan bilis and peanut are crispy. The fish cake is filled with fish. The most tasty is the crispy chicken which is well marinated. continue reading

I am a big fan of deep fried food, especially the deep fried prawn fritters are one of my all-time favourite deep fried item. Have pass by this nasi lemak stall and saw their prawn fritters and decided to give it a try. Was sort of disappointed as the prawn meat is quite soft in texture and the outer crust are quite soggy and not crispy at all. At the price of near to a dollar per piece, I think is abit expensive and is not tasty at all. continue reading

I always prefer banana leaf otah to the others. It comes in a big piece and wrapped in the banana leaf. I can even taste bits of fish meat embedded in the otah. The level of spiciness is quite alright. I actually prefer it to be a little spicier. I like to have it with Nasi Lemak or eat it with bread. It tasted equally good. Though the price is slight higher but the quality made it worth the value. continue reading

their otahs are seriously quite good. i like all their otahs. although it's abit small in serving. it's quite expenisve at $0.80 onwards for a small piece. i still love muar otah boy's otahs the best but they seemed to have shut down. this is 2nd best so it'll have to do. their nasi lemak is not recommended. their otah is good. their ikan bilis in a tub is alright but a bit too salty and very expensive at $3.60 a small tub. service is fast but not always helpful. they have a few different flavours of otah to choose from. continue reading
